The Perfect Vacation Spot. Country side area called Amed. This untouched area just got electricity two years ago.
I stayed in this beautiful private house during my with the orange roof tops. The smaller one is the cabana. In front of it, is the pool. Maybe you've seen some of my nude,semi nudes photos were taken there. There are no distractions, no TV no phone.
The staff lives on the premises they prepare food, clean and basically wait on you, anything you want. They are there for you. You tell them what time and what you want for meals. Or if you want to enjoy local life, there is a motobike/cycle for use. Waking up every morning, I can watch dolphins swimming by. Yes, they're that close. Absolutely beautiful. Fresh air, fresh food, yes fish. You can see the boats all belong to working fishers. This is a true getaway.

Special Ceremony happens only twice a year. I as given traditional clothes. Of course, it was tight as a snake but I managed to wear it a few hours without tearing it.









Part of the ceremony is praying to the gods. Rice is placed in the center of the forehead and on the temples. Somehow, I didnt believe the rice would stick so long but it lasted all day.

OH yes! This is carried on the head, up hill! This is no joke! It feels like a 30kg dumbbell on my head. Each house bring similar items full of fruit, fish, beer whatever to offer to the god. I only held it for this picture then I gave it back to the woman. The guy on the left is Putu. His wife is the woman massaging my dark brown body. They were wonderful, nice people. If I could I'd go back every year to the country side.
